What is VeriFactu?

VeriFactu is a free AEAT tool that allows invoices to be issued directly from its platform. The aim is to reinforce control over invoicing, ensuring that each document generated is registered and communicated to the Tax Authorities in practically real time.

For whom is it intended?

It is aimed primarily at self-employed and small businesses with a simple operation and low invoicing volume. If you only issue a few invoices per month and do not need extra functionalities, it could be enough.

What about commercial programmes?

As of 1 July 2025, all invoicing software on the market must be adapted to the VeriFactu standard.. This means that most of today's solutions are already prepared to meet the new requirements without giving up advanced functionalities such as collection control, inventory or customised reports.

So is VeriFactu right for me?

It depends. If all you need to do is issue a few invoices a month, it may be fine. But if you are looking for a more comfortable, flexible tool that is ready to grow with you, the ideal is to opt for a commercial software adapted to your needs.
